I like how geographical location is somehow in anyway representational of someone’s ability to use a google search. That’s just argumentum ad absurdum, if such a thing exists. Also, actual law? There is no law you incontinent hamster, it’s a power that the DHS has declared itself to have. No one voted for it, just as no one voted for the creation of the DHS in the first place. That was just declared by George W. Bush. People did actually vote for him, but less people than voted for Al Gore. Yet Bush still became president. Somehow.

Also, while I’m bringing up political issues, can we please fucking get rid of the electoral college already? We aren’t a true democracy at all with it in place. If more people vote for a dude, then he or she or thon should become president. It’s that simple.
